The ties between Fontys ICT and the First Lego League go back a long way. After a break of a few years, we were finally back this year! We supported teams and coaches and were also represented on the jury during the regional finals on 8 February, with Lennart de Graaf, Claar Koenderink and student Rana Ilayda Özgül.
In addition, we offered various activities during the regional finals at campus013 in Tilburg, such as the WeSmile booth (an AI photo booth with Lego-style printouts, developed by students) and physical games from the Game Design department.
It was a successful restart of our involvement with this organisation, which encourages children to develop creativity and technological skills. We left feeling inspired to expand this collaboration. To be continued!
