Mini symposium Big Data Insight

A well-attended mini symposium "How to do Big Data" from the research group Big Data on 15 June in the Natlab. The plan to create a place where businesses, students and colleagues alike can meet up to discuss developments, opportunities and possibilities apparently catches on. After an introduction by Gerard Schouten, Eric van Tol took visitors on a trip through Data-driven organisations. In the break visitors were shown the results of (business) assignments by students of FH Communication, which they carried out for the research group. The parallel sessions by various lecturers, including a discussion on various applications of Big Data were also met with positive reactions. All in all it is a good thing to take steps with regard to periodic activities with regard to Big Data Insight.
