Thursday 6 December the Huygens Lyceum Eindhoven (Higher General Secondary Education /Pre-university education) was a guest at FHICT and the Fontys ICT InnovationLab. Eric Slaats and Martijn Ruissen told them about our open didactics, our project education and our vision of ownership.
The underlying theory and the practical execution were explained. Under the title ‘Huygens Leren’ the Huygens Lyceum started offering education differently and saying farewell to merely classical “sending” education in the first class of secondary school. They came to be inspired, but also to enter into a dialogue about the current and future link of secondary education to higher professional education.
It was an inspiring meeting in a unique educational setting. Everyone went home with renewed insights and food for thought.
