Online Career Day

On Thursday 18 May Fontys Hogeschool ICT organised the first and successful Online Career Day! With more than 200 students, 80 persons from 50 companies and about 900 online calls in total! Students and companies were matched on the basis of preferences and were all given a personal schedule with speed dating sessions and company spits. The day was kicked off with a welcome message from Ad Vissers for companies and Floor van Hees on behalf of Student+ for students.

The conversations took place with the help of Microsoft Teams meetings. Isah, one of our Partners in Education, says: "I see many benefits in the Online Career Day. Students choose companies more consciously than when they visit a booth during the physical event". We look back on many positive matches during the online event.
