Sverre has since graduated in software engineering, cum laude as a matter of fact, but also co-wrote a paper with Gerard Schouten entitled: "Robust Automated Fiber Tracking (RAFT)". Maarten Versluis and Willem Huijbers also co-wrote on behalf of Philips. That paper was well received, with the duo leaving for L'Aquila in Italy to present the paper at the IEEE International Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA 2023). RAFT is a configurable software system, which automates the extraction and visualisation of fibre structures in the brain during MRI scans. The tool can already be used by clinical scientists and experts in academic hospitals.
