Mindlabs' spectacular Grand Opening took place on 27 September, with guests falling from one technological showcase to another.
From a hologram of MindLabs managing director Petra van Dijk, to the new Mindlabs Avatar MAI. And from deepfake interviews and disinformation games, to an AI Photobooth (WeSmile) at the showcase of the Fontys ICT InnovationLab and Fontys Journalism.
An inspiring event within Mindlabs! A great opportunity for Fontys University of Applied Sciences to show the outside world what we contribute in terms of innovation, AI and cooperation. From the Spoorzone in Tilburg, we develop new applications together with other knowledge institutions and organisations, which help solve social issues. This opening concluded a long period of building, setting up and testing. So this was just the beginning... On to a future with even more innovation, cooperation and impact.
