The Education Fair Zuid took place on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September. Besides the general Fontys stand, we set up a Techplein together with Fontys Engineering, TuE, Ter AA, Summa, Brainport Industries College and Brainport Eindhoven.
The Techplein was intended to interest young people in a study programme in engineering. At the square, they could see and experience for themselves what tech is all about. Various cool ‘do’ projects were displayed on 80m2. Fontys ICT set up a Drone Parcours together with a student from Tilburg. This was a great success. Many students were enthusiastic and tried out the Drone Parcours, while our educators Jo-An and Kees were able to talk to these young people about their choice of study. We hope this made more young people enthusiastic about choosing a study programme in engineering.
