We claim the night
Over 140 students from Open Learning engaged in a hackathon this week with the case “We claim the night".
The students were asked to come up with solutions to issues of street harassment and domestic violence. They worked very hard and last Thursday they got to present their ideas during a demo market at the Fontys ICT InnovationLab. The involvement of both students, teachers and partners was great. Together with Stichting Stop Straatintimidatie, the three best ideas were selected. The jury found the Distr-action idea to be the best. This app helps bystanders to distract someone who is bullying on the street.
